District Governor George Senosha and District Governor Ann, Cheryl Jennings, invite Rotarians, Rotaract members, Interact members and all partners to the District conference held 1-4 May 2025 at Glenburn Lodge & Spa, Muldersdrift. This beautiful seating in the bush hosts wildlife (not the big five) and is surrounded by the Cradle of Humankind heritage site and the Sterkfontein Caves.

O Governador do Distrito, Dr George Senosha, e a Governadora do Distrito, Ann, Cheryl Jennings, convidam Rotarianos, membros do Rotaract, membros do Interact e todos os parceiros para a conferência distrital realizada de 1 a 4 de Maio de 2025 no Glenburn Lodge & Spa, Muldersdrift. Este belo assento no mato hospeda a vida selvagem (não os cinco grandes) e está rodeado pelo patrimônio do Berço da Humanidade e as Cavernas de Sterkfontein.
PROGRAMME OF EVENTS
Following registration on 1 May, which starts @ 12:30, Your hosts will join you at the Meet & Greet event. Wear your favourite hat - any style you desire.
On 2 May, the programme is filled with exciting content. Presenters from D9400 and guest speakers will cover a range of topics either independently or in a panel.
During the Hollywood evening event, you can dress as your favourite actor/actress or film character!
On 3 May, we continue with outstanding presentations and the afternoon is free for you to visit the local sites or go for a hike.
As the Rotary year closes, the chains of office will be handed to the incoming leaders at the Gala banquet. The theme is ‘Winter Wonderland’ and the hall will be decked with white, pale blue and silver.
There will be dancing at the events on 2 and 3 May and prizes galore for your best hat and character outfit.

Professor George Knoke; Rotary Africa Editor, Sarah Patterson; Steve Hamilton; Dr Thuli Madonsela; Sinah Moruani; Dieketseng Diale; Octavia Ephraim and many outstanding Rotary and Rotaract members; and the youth. We have some surprises hidden in the programme too!
END POLIO WALK
The End Polo Committee is also planning an End Polio Now walk on 4 May, so bring your walking gear, hat and sunblock along! It should be great fun.
COMPETITIONS
The photographic and essay competitions will involve Rotarians, Rotaract members and the Interact clubs. Details will be launched in January.

The hotel has a limited number of rooms, and you need to book with them directly – please mention that you are attending the Rotary D9400 conference. There are a number of other hotels and BnBs in the area… you can Google them.

No dia 2 de Maio, o programa é recheado de conteúdos emocionantes. Os apresentadores da D9400 e os oradores convidados abordarão uma série de tópicos de forma independente ou num painel.
Durante o evento noturno de Hollywood, você pode se vestir como seu ator/atriz favorito ou personagem de cinema!
No dia 3 de Maio, continuamos com excelentes apresentações e a tarde é livre para você visitar os locais locais ou fazer uma caminhada.
Com o encerramento do ano rotário, as cadeias de cargos serão entregues aos novos líderes no Banquete de Gala. O tema é 'País das Maravilhas do Inverno' e o salão será decorado com branco, azul pálido e prata.
Haverá dança nos eventos de 2 e 3 de Maio e prêmios em abundância para o seu melhor chapéu e roupa de personagem.

O Comitê End Polo também está planejando uma caminhada End Polio Now em 4 de Maio, então traga seu equipamento de caminhada, chapéu e protetor solar junto! Deve ser muito divertido.
CONCURSOS
Os concursos de fotografia e ensaio envolverão rotarianos, membros do Rotaract e os Interact Clubs. Os detalhes serão lançados em janeiro.
