Message from Immediate Past District Governor Dr George Senosha
Dear Rotarians of District 9400,
As the curtain gently draws on my time as District Governor of District 9400, I stand before you not with sadness, but with deep
gratitude, humility, and immense pride in what we have achieved together. This has not been a solo journey—it has been a symphony
of collaboration, resilience, and shared purpose.
To President Purnell (PAG), thank you sincerely for ensuring that communication remained at the heart of our District
through the DG Newsletters. Your dedication to keeping Rotarians informed and engaged has been instrumental. To AG Thabang
Chiloane, your support for Mariana and your role as a stabilising force behind the scenes have not gone unnoticed. Thank you.
To each Rotarian in District 9400: thank you for walking beside me—through the calm and the storms. Your unwavering support lifted me on difficult days and inspired me to serve with even greater commitment. To DG Maria Angelica Salomao, who has shared in this journey with poise and insight, I wish you a term of abundant success and transformative impact in 2025–2026.
To the Assistant Governors, Club Presidents, and Committee Chairs—thank you for playing an active role in shaping Rotary International’s three-year strategic plan. Your input has set a firm foundation for what lies ahead. To PDG Riana Pretorius, thank
you for your continued guidance and your presence throughout this term.
To our dedicated District Secretary, PAG Alice Meyer—words will never fully capture my appreciation for you. Thank you for ensuring
that every meeting, every commitment, and every visit was executed with grace and precision. You were the quiet force behind
my punctuality and my presence, always serving with a smile and the utmost humility. Please continue serving Beyond Self, just as
you always have. Your work mattered. You made all the difference.
As I take my final bow, my most profound appreciation goes to all the Rotary Clubs that welcomed me so warmly. Each visit was not
just ceremonial—it was an opportunity to learn, to be inspired, and to witness Rotary’s heartbeat on the ground.
Yours in Rotary Service
IPDG George Senosha
